About me
Hi, I’m Jade, a qualified integrative therapist and the founder of Gentle Steps Therapy.
I believe that you are the expert in your own life. My role is to walk alongside you, offering a safe, non-judgemental, and supportive space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace. Taking that first step into therapy can feel daunting, so I aim to create an environment where you feel comfortable, heard, and understood from the very beginning.
As an integrative therapist, I draw on a range of approaches including person-centred therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and Transactional Analysis. This means our work together is tailored to you- your needs, your goals, and what feels right for you.
I bring with me several years of experience supporting individuals through complex and deeply challenging life situations. My background has given me a strong foundation in working with trauma, loss, emotional distress, and overwhelming experiences.
Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, low mood, grief, past experiences, or simply feeling stuck, therapy can offer a space to begin making sense of things. Gentle Steps Therapy represents change- at your pace, in your way. It’s about taking those small, meaningful steps towards healing, growth and self-understanding.
