Jacqui Dale MBACP Accred. Counsellor & Supervisor

About me
Anxious, depressed or maybe having relationship difficulties? When life gets confusing, we sometimes need someone to listen to us and more importantly, hear us; to help us to see things from a different perspective. I can offer you an non judgemental opportunity to explore your thoughts and feelings, in a confidential setting, recognising the uniqueness of your individual values, belief system and cultural background. I believe that people are their own life expert and within them lies the answers to their future.
My extensive experience includes working as an NHS counsellor, managing a counselling service and working with young mums (mums-aid.org). I have also worked for various local counselling charities, providing counselling for depression & anxiety, panic attacks, relationships difficulties, bereavement, trauma, abuse and phobias.
As an integrative counsellor, it has also proved useful to help clients use coping strategies to improve their daily lives using cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), which is a way of seeing things from a positive perspective in order to make changes and move forward.
I am an Accredited and Registered member of the BACP (The British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) and work in accordance with their Ethical Framework for Good Practice.
