About me

Are you are suffering from feelings of anxiety, relationship issues, panic disorder, depression, phobias, feelings of sadness, family issues or bereavement?

The changes to our lives that we have recently had to adopt have caused heightened levels of anxiety, distress and, possibly for many of us, grieving. In these circumstances, online and telephone therapy can be effective alternatives for a wide range of issues.

My therapies support Anxiety, Relationship issues, Couples counselling, Panic disorder, Depression, Post-traumatic stress (PTSD), Survivors of sexual abuse, Family issues, OCD, Bipolar disorder/manic depression, and Addiction(s).

As a fully qualified and experienced Counsellor and Psychotherapist, my counselling background has given me a broad range of experience of working with young people and adults (both male and female). This allows me to tailor counselling to an individual’s needs within the BACP's Ethical Framework.

I can help you by offering confidential talking therapy, away from external pressure, and at your pace. This therapy can be either at my private therapy rooms or by telephone/online (cyber-counselling).

I currently practice in my private rooms in Alcester and cover the Bromsgrove, Redditch, Alvechurch, and Stratford-upon-Avon areas. These therapy rooms have disabled facilities and allocated parking spaces and are easily accessible by car and bus.

I am a registered Counsellor and Psychotherapist with Aetna Global Benefits and Vitality Health organisations. I am also registered as a Counsellor & Psychotherapist on the Police Firearms Officers Association (PFOA) Network.

If you would like to talk to me about how I could help you, please contact me by email at info@jtwcounselling.co.uk or via telephone on 07826 572824.

After your initial contact, I will contact you within 24 hours for us to assess potential areas to work in.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
