About me
There are lots of reasons why you may be looking for therapy. It could be a specific issue you want to work through or it might be a build up of different things. It could simply be that you feel different, misunderstood, alone or you just don't feel OK.
I am a Registered BACP counsellor and offer counselling in Haywards Heath and online. I offer a free, no obligation initial meeting where you can tell me a little about what has brought you to counselling and I can answer any questions you have. If you then decide to go ahead, sessions are 50 minutes and there’s no obligation to sign up for a fixed number of sessions.
I offer a safe, confidential space to explore whatever is going on for you. and will work with you to better understand it, alleviate distress and move forward.
My approach is humanistic, which means that I work with you from your own unique perspective. I combine different psychotherapeutic theories to meet your needs for therapy.
Sessions can be face to face in confidential therapy room in Haywards Heath, or online.
I work with a range of issues including burnout, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, personal identity , end of life, loss and bereavement. I also specialise in working with people who are childless, not by choice (CNBC).

Relevant qualifications and memberships: Humanistic Integrative Counselling Diploma, Registered member of the British Association of Psychotherapy and Counselling (BACP), Advanced FEPS Sophrology Practitioner, BSc (Hons) Psych, Member of the British Psychological Society (MBPsS), ILM 7 Certificate: Executive Coaching and Leadership Mentoring, Member of the Association for Coaching, Certified Prism Practitioner, Certified TRACOM Social Styles Practitioner.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
