About me
Imagine sharing time with someone that you trust... knowing that they will never judge you - only treat you in a way whereby you feel safe, heard and respected.
How beneficial could this feel at time when you need it most - maybe you have suffered a recent loss, a life changing diagnosis, a relationship breakdown or feelings of sadness, anger, loneliness or low self-worth?
By the fact that you are reading this, suggests that you have found courage to take the first step in finding that support.
We all know that life can be overwhelming at times, and finding the right therapist for you, is a positive way of seeking a resolution or a deeper understanding to the experiences you wish to explore, in order to help alleviate your worries and anxiety.
As a BACP registered and qualified Person Centred Therapist, I offer you a safe, warm and supportive non-judgemental space - whereby overtime you can gain a greater appreciation of yourself and how life's events have impacted your wellbeing.
I fully appreciate that all clients are individuals, therefore everyone's needs and experiences are unique, which is why our sessions will be led by what you need from them in order to safely explore the experiences you choose to disclose - always at a pace to suit you.
My warm, welcoming and empathetic personality will support and empower you on that journey to finding happiness, joy and becoming your best self.
Please reach out if you would like to know more about the benefits of working with me - and thank you for taking the time to read my profile.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
It’s important to feel at ease with your therapist.
Using primarily a person centred approach, I will support you to feel comfortable, heard and understood, so that you can be you in the room - with no judgement, expectations or opinions.
During our sessions, you will be supported to deepen self expression so you can feel more confident and empowered in making the right choices based on your needs, knowing it’s ok to release any fear, defensiveness, frustration or guilt .
And, as many of my clients have experienced- there will be that one amazing day, when you will leave the room, with a lighter heart and feel proud of what you have achieved.
