About me

Are you an adult or young person aged between 11-17 and looking for some  support. Have you experienced emotional or narcissistic abuse? Are you struggling with anxiety or another mental health issue that's holding you back? Please get in touch.

I have always been driven by a deep passion for helping others navigate their emotional landscapes. My journey into counselling began with a desire to support individuals facing difficult challenges, and that commitment has only deepened over the years. I work with adults and young people between 11-18. With qualifications in integrative counselling, cognitive behavioural therapy, EMDR, and clinical hypnotherapy, I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to my practice. I understand the complexities of human emotions and the courage it takes to seek help. My approach is rooted in empathy and genuine connection, ensuring that you feel seen and heard. Outside of my professional work, I am dedicated to continuous learning and personal growth, which further informs my practice. I look forward to partnering with you on your path to healing and transformation.

In my practice, you will encounter a truly transformative experience within a warm and safe environment where confidentiality is not just a promise, but a foundation. This space is designed for you to express your deepest thoughts and feelings freely, where every word is valued and respected. As a qualified integrative counsellor with specialised expertise in cognitive behavioural therapy, EMDR, and clinical hypnotherapy, I employ a holistic approach that goes beyond surface issues to address the root of your challenges.

My skills in clinical hypnotherapy empower your journey toward change whether you're facing phobias, trauma, weight loss, smoking cessation, IBS, or simply seeking deep relaxation.

With extensive experience supporting individuals affected by domestic and narcissistic abuse, I am committed to guiding you through your healing journey with unwavering compassion and strength.

After leaving school I qualified as a nurse and have always worked in supporting/coaching roles.

When training as a counsellor I trained initially as an Integrative counsellor and then went on to specialise in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.

I am an EMDR Practitioner and trained in clinical Hypnotherapy

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
