I am also an Approved Adoption Counsellor offering Adoption Counselling for individuals, children and families and to those also within the care system currently or historically, working together using Attachment Focused Therapy. I also offer counselling support to Birth Parents and Grandparents where children have been placed for adoption.

I work in Private Practice with people from all walks of life providing a safe, confidential setting where you can make sense of your current experiences and be really listened to and understood. Working together can help you seek different perspectives for choosing a new path through your life. Exploring your current thinking, feelings and patterns of behaviour can be really helpful in experiencing yourself differently and helping you elicit the change you want for yourself.
Alongside my private practice in Haywards Heath and Crowborough, I had worked for six years as a Drug and Alcohol Counsellor and as a Primary School Counsellor working with children who demonstrated emotional and behavioural difficulties / I also worked for a cancer charity providing counselling support to life limited cancer patients, their carers and family members.
I have a special interest and knowledge about Adoption and the care system and currently work for a Local Authority and Independent Adoption Agency in another capacity.
It is important that you find a Counsellor that is right for you, so before deciding, I offer a FREE initial meeting to see if we can both work together.
