About me
I am a Clinical Psychologist offering evidence-based psychological therapy. I specialise in helping people better understand themselves, particularly those discovering their neurodivergence. I support people to better meet their individual needs and live a life with less suffering, more joy, and more fulfilment. My approach is authentic, compassionate, and specifically tailored to you.
I have a keen interest in working with people who have just found out (either through diagnosis or through personal discovery) that they are neurodivergent. Perhaps the journey to this realisation has brought you relief, validation, confusion, grief, or burnout. Therapy can provide a space to process these experiences, develop self-understanding, and explore ways of living that feel more authentic and sustainable.
My practice is integrative, which means I draw on a variety of therapeutic models such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Compassion Focussed Therapy, Mindfulness, Schema Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist, having completed doctoral-level training at the University of Glasgow. This training provides expertise in understanding mental health difficulties, conducting comprehensive assessments, and delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) means that I have met the standards of training, professional competence, and ethical practice required to work as a practitioner psychologist in the UK, and that I maintain these standards through ongoing professional development.
UK Clinical Psychology training is unique in combining extensive supervised clinical experience with doctoral-level research training. This means Clinical Psychologists are trained not only to provide assessment and therapy, but also to critically evaluate evidence, understand emerging research, and apply evidence-based approaches tailored to your needs.

school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
