About me
I’m Imogen a CBT and EMDR Psychotherapist. I understand that the thought of beginning therapy can be daunting, my style is calm and warm, and we will begin at a pace that meets you where you are. I also offer a free introductory phone call on which we can discuss any concerns that you might have. I am fully BABCP accredited and have a decade of NHS experience working as a psychotherapist. I am also a qualified mindfulness teacher and enjoy practicing yoga in my spare time which I feel brings a sense of ease and grounding to my sessions.
I have extensive experience working with individuals struggling with a wide range of difficulties including; low mood, anxiety (GAD, OCD, Panic, Social Anxiety, Health Anxiety), trauma and PTSD. I also work with individuals experiencing health challenges and adjusting to living with long term health conditions.
Some people come to therapy with a clear goal, others are less sure and this is something we can work through together on an introductory call. Therapy is a two-way process and I will always strive to show up authentically with the hope this will enable you to do the same. Sessions can be adapted for individual learning styles and neurodiversity.
