About me

Hello, I am an experienced, welcoming counsellor who works with children, young people, adults and families. I am offer counselling/psychotherapy and supervision at my discreet private practice in Banstead.

I am trained Psychodynamically, I am a Clinical Assessor and Integrative Supervisor for Counsellors.

I have attended training at The Metanoia Institute for Person Centred Experiential Counselling for Depression (PCE-CfD)

I am Senior Counsellor and Supervisor within the NHS IAPT setting working with clients suffering from anxiety, depression, bereavement or loss. For the last year, I have worked in a hospice with patients who have a cancer diagnosis. I also work with families of patients, and those who have been bereaved.

I work with many clients who have recently been affected by bereavement or loss. I currently facilitate a COVID 19 support group for people who have been bereaved by the virus,  working with a local charity. Please contact me for information about this as it is funded by a charity for residents of Reigate and Banstead.

I am able to offer Counselling and Therapy on either a Time Limited basis, or Open Ended.
I have worked with families and young people/children for the last 15 years

I am a registered counsellor and practitioner with Nuffield Health, BUPA, BUPA EAP Programme and  other Insurance Providers.  Please contact me for information.
I have been a trainer, tutor and supervisor to adult students on an Professional Advanced Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counselling Course.

I am an Accredited member of the BACP (British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy.

I am a registered EAP (Employer Assistance Programme) Counsellor.

I am a BUPA registered Counsellor.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

£60 for 1 hour clinical supervision

I am able to offer telephone counselling (Please call or email me for information about this service)  

If you feel that I would be able to meet your needs, please contact me by email or telephone where we can arrange a first session to meet and discuss the way forward.

The first session is charged at the current counselling fee rate.

I do offer some concession spaces -(student counsellors and those who may not be able to pay the full fee).

I hold personal indemnity insurance and an enhanced DBS.

All enquiries are dealt with confidentially. My private practice is discreetly situated off the main road, where there is ample off street parking nearby.

Wheelchair user access
