Why me?
I will sit alongside you in a non-judgemental way throughout your journey. When you come into therapy I want you to feel safe, safe to share, safe in our relationship, in order to express your struggles. You’ll experience me as empathetic, open-minded, compassionate, confident and culturally aware. I am also a therapist who has lived experience of many of the areas that i help people to heal from. Amongst the colourful emotions that emerge from therapy, let’s not forget to smile and laugh.
My hopes for you.
I want you to experience looking at life through a different lens. Helping you to develop an understanding and awareness of who you are. We are a combination of different ages and stages and our goal is to be compassionate of all aspects of ourselves.
A common analogy is to imagine you are a bus, with lots of different passengers (our different parts) with one passenger driving the bus at any one time. A different trigger can cause a different passenger to take over the driving seat.
I want you to know how to manage emotions, challenging situations and to start showing up as “authentic you”; with confidence, understanding, inner calm and acceptance.
We will work on releasing feelings instead of being hijacked by them. Our goal is to create a meaningful life stepping away from our limiting beliefs and old patterns.
- What do you want your life to be about?
- What’s important to you?
- What do you want more of?
- What are your values?
- What gives your life purpose?

Why Groups?
Do you feel alone in the crowd? Maybe you struggle to share with friends or maybe you feel like you don’t belong. Are you masking what’s really going on for you with your wellbeing? Are you trying to cope ? .
Often the barrier to group therapy is getting your foot in the door. Once you’ve arrived, it’s a huge milestone and you will be greeted with a smile and a warm welcome.
As a group facilitator, I have experience of working with groups. They have a significant impact on improving people’s wellbeing. We live in a community that is individualist and it’s difficult to navigate this when we don’t often have a chance to share and belong.
Group Therapy is a powerful and a potent way of understanding shared humanity and relational difficulties.
What will you get from this:
A chance to hear that you are not alone
An opportunity to share your voice
A place where you connect with other who share similar struggles
Groups support many aspects of the human experience such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relational dynamics
A structured group that is facilitated by an accredited therapist
What you gain from group therapy:
You feel hopeful from when you first arrive
Value the importance of self-care
Take ownership of your own wellbeing
Take important steps for your recovery and healing
