About me
Are you going through a difficult time? Are you feeling lost? Are you searching for meaning? Would you like to create a more fulfilled life?
When we are lost, confused or overwhelmed by life circumstances we are often disconnected from ourselves. We have lost access to our inner compass and feel caught in a fast spinning wheel with no visible escape route
We might desperately turn our focus away from ourselves and our pain. We might look for things or people to make us feel better or resort to unhealthy patterns, addictive behaviours or substances to distract ourselves.
But does this really address our underlying pain and distress and satisfy our true needs? What is driving our behaviour? What is the underlying pain or distress that we are trying to soothe? Are we caught in patterns that are routed in past events, losses, trauma or wounding from early life experiences? And in this process, have we left ourselves behind?
Paradoxically, getting off the “wheel” starts with turning the focus back onto ourselves.
I invite you to slow down and help you to work out what is going on inside of you, what is causing your suffering and what really matters to you. I encourage you to notice what your true needs and deeply held values are, so that you can start living your life in a way that respects your true needs and deeply held values. I provide a supportive and non judgmental environment for you that you can explore your issues in depth without any pressure or judgement. I offer a safe space for you to process your difficult emotions and help you find new ways of relating to your pain, your environment and ultimately to yourself.
I believe that deep down you hold the key to your own wellbeing and with the right support you can access your inner wisdom and move towards healing and wholeness.
I work in an integrative way, drawing from a variety of approaches to tailor my work to your needs. I focus on the body and the mind as a source of information and help you understand the connection between body, mind and emotions. I support you in building up resources to stabilise your nervous system, so that you can ride the waves more easily when “the sea of life” gets stormy.
Let me accompany you on your way, so that you can reconnect with yourself and regain access to your inner compass.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
