When was the last time you felt really heard and listened to?
In today's world it is often difficult to find space and time where you can gather your thoughts and explore how you are feeling. Sometimes it just feels too big to share what we have got going on with others who are close to us.This can lead to feelings of being alone, frustration and sadness.
My name is Heidi and I am a qualified and registered integrative counsellor, being integrative in my therapeutic approach means that I will tailor my therapy to your specific problem and needs, drawing upon a range of different counselling modalities. I have been working with clients since 2013 and have a background working with rape and abuse survivors and in general mental health. In sessions I hope to provide you with a safe and compassionate space where you can unpack and process your emotions and also discover some of the underlying causes to your problems and concerns. Some of the areas I have experience of working with include stress, anxiety, patterns of relating and abuse.
Counselling is about listening to you and giving you space and time to explore the impact of all you have experienced. I hope that through our work together you can find clarity, a greater understanding of yourself and through this process can find your next steps forward.
Selecting the right counsellor for you and your individual needs is so important. I'm happy to talk to you prior to arranging your first session and will do my best to answer any questions you may have. Please feel free to give me a call or email to chat about your counselling needs or to arrange an appointment, I look forward to speaking to you. Warm regards Heidi
