Heidi Mellonie MA, MBACP Registered
As a counsellor I hope to offer you a space where you will feel safe enough to be yourself, explore what's going on for you and how that makes you feel. Sessions are non judgemental, open and friendly, yet professional. Working online or via the telephone we can work together on a short or long term basis dependent on your individual needs.
In sessions we work together at your pace, unpacking your experiences, emotions and feelings, sharing the highs and the lows. As an Integrative Counsellor I will work creatively and practically with you, drawing upon a variety of different therapeutic models to tailor my approach to your unique and individual concerns. I am also a trained eco therapist and can offer you the option of outside sessions following an initial online assessment session using walk talk therapy.
My professional counselling experience includes several years of working within the charity sector with national mental health and rape and abuse charities. I work with clients with sensitivity and respect on many areas including anxiety, life transitions, spirituality, abuse, relational difficulties and stress although this is not an exhaustive list.
I know that for many people taking those steps into therapy can be such a hard decision to make. I offer a free, no obligation telephone consultation for all clients thinking about therapy and will be happy to talk you though how I might work with you in counselling and answer any questions you may have. I look forward to speaking with you.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
