HCPC registered Psychologist BABCP accredited CBT Therapist

About me

I'm a compassionate and empathetic Clinical Psychologist and BABCP Accredited CBT Therapist. I'm trained in a number of therapies to help you find ways to overcome your difficulties and learn new skills to cope. I will provide you with a safe space so you can share and understand your experiences. Whether your difficulties are new or long-standing we can use therapy to help you to improve your mood, improve your quality of life and find ways to achieve your goals.

I have been working as a therapist since 2009. I worked in the NHS for a number of years, and now alongside my client work I work for a university leading training courses for therapists. I specialise in working with people who feel anxious, worried, overwhelmed and/or low. I also work with those who have experienced trauma, have physical health conditions or ADHD.

Therapy can improve your mood and your quality of life. If you would like to gain support with the challenges you face or would like to learn new skills or ways of coping, please contact me.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have been offering therapy to adults for 17 years, in NHS, voluntary and private settings.

As a Clinical Psychologist, I have trained to doctorate level, learning a variety of ways to help you. I am registered with the Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC), reflecting my commitment to professional and ethical practice. I am an accredited CBT therapist with the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP), demonstrating my level of training in this evidence-based therapy. I have further training and experience in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Compassion-Focussed Therapy.

My extensive training and experience means that I can tailor my approach to you, offering you the most helpful therapeutic tools.
