About me

Hello, I’m Harrie (she/her). Thank you for checking my bio and well done for making it this far. A bit about me: I'm an experienced, warm, and compassionate Chartered Clinical Psychologist working in the NHS and private practice. I'm registered with the British Psychological Society and a Registered Practitioner Psychologist with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC).

I specialise in supporting individuals with chronic pain, physical health conditions, trauma, anxiety and mood difficulties.

I use an integrative approach drawing on various evidence-based therapy models, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion-Focussed Therapy (CFT) and Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR).

Therapy is saying about 'yes' to yourself, your needs, your relationships, your life, your future and your now. Having had therapy myself I know how it feels to sit in the other chair, and how supportive and life-enhancing this can be.

My private practice, Oneness Clinical Psychology, aims to tailor the best available clinical evidence to support you to live more of the life you want to live. ‘Oneness’ represents the important link between mind and body and finding ways to be more ‘at one’ with our lives.

I offer face to face private therapy sessions at Caley's Apothecary in Wymondham, which has good accessibility and free car parking. I also offer online therapy sessions.

Training, qualifications & experience

Since qualifying from the University of East Anglia (UEA) in 2016, I have delivered evidence-based therapy, training and supervision within acute NHS hospital settings. I specialise in supporting individuals with persistent/chronic pain, a wide range of physical health conditions, trauma, anxiety and depression.

HCPC
Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.

Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
