BSC Hons in Person Centred Counselling

About me

Hi I'm Hannah thank you for visiting my page. I'm a Person Centred Counsellor (BSc Hons) and member of the National Counselling Society.

Mental health concerns can affect us all at different points in our lives. You may have reached a time in your life where you feel lost, overwhelmed or feel as if you are going round in circles with no way to move forward.

Have you found yourself feeling anxious, depressed or sad?

Are you having feelings of self doubt or struggling with low self esteem?

Have you suffered a bereavement or relationship breakdown that has left you feeling lost and empty?

Have you found yourself having suicidal thoughts and afraid of being able to tell anyone?

Whatever your individual circumstance may be counselling can be really valuable.

As a Person Centred Counsellor I offer sessions that are very much client led, valuing you as a unique individual with your own experiences.  As a counsellor I feel that I can offer you a safe space free of judgement to explore your thoughts and feelings.  As we work together our aim is to empower you to find solutions to any issues you bring to therapy.

On a personal level alongside my counselling practice I have worked in the NHS for 12 years in very challenging environments. I therefore feel I can empathise with pressures placed upon emergency workers. Within my life I have also experienced many losses and been a carer for a loved one with a terminal illness. I therefore have a huge passion advocating for carers who are often forgotten and may be experiencing grief and loss in several ways.  As part of my practice I would love to reach out to every one of you and offer the support you greatly deserve.

I understand how making the decision to seek counselling can be daunting. It is so important that you feel you can connect with your counsellor and if you decide to make contact I will take the time to answer any questions you may have. It can be hard to reach out for help but I'm here to hopefully help you to start your journey.

I provide a choice of face to face, telephone and online counselling services.
