About me
Do you find yourself noticing the same patterns coming up, even when you’ve worked hard to understand them?
You understand yourself well. People around you describe you as 'self-aware'. And yet, you may notice you often put other people's needs first or you may say yes when you mean no.
I support people who want to begin gently shifting patterns that no longer work for them.
Using a trauma-informed approach, we work together to tune into what your nervous system is telling you. As we build that awareness, we start to identify ways to ease patterns of stress and shutdown, and build a greater sense of safety and steadiness in your day-to-day life.
Together, we’ll explore what makes familiar dynamics feel safer or easier to return to — even when part of you longs for something different.
If you identify with anxious attachment, we can explore how those patterns show up in your relationships, work, and sense of self. And we'll work toward building a foundation that starts to feel more secure - one where you can trust yourself, set boundaries with less guilt, and feel safer in yourself.
My approach:
I believe meaningful change happens not just through insight, but through the experience of a supportive therapeutic relationship. Our work together provides a space where you don’t need to perform, where your needs are seen and valued, and where you’re met with consistency, curiosity, and care.
Therapy is a space for exploration and understanding, where we move at a pace that feels right for you. If you’re looking for thoughtful, steady support as you get to know yourself more deeply and notice what starts to feel more secure and nourishing for you, I would be honoured to walk alongside you.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am trained in Therapeutic Integrative Counselling, which means my approach is informed by a variety of styles of therapy, and I am a trauma-informed practitioner. My aim is for us to find a unique approach that works for you. I believe that there is no 'one-size fits all' approach to therapy, and our work together will be informed by your own experiences, to suit you as an individual.
The work I do with my clients tends to be long-term, meaning I'll be there to support you over months or years. I find this allows us to take a gentle approach to our sessions together, giving us the space and time to work together to support you to make the changes you would like to make in your life.
I can offer weekly and fortnightly sessions. For clients who I have worked with and would like some ongoing support after their main goals are met, I offer monthly sessions.
I am fully insured and I am a registered member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Further information
I work remotely over Zoom. Having worked both in-person and online, it is my experience that the therapeutic relationship - that sense of being truly seen and held - develops just as deeply online as it does in person. In fact, many clients find that being in their own space helps them to feel comfortable, as long as you can speak in private where you won't be overheard. I've found what truly creates change isn't whether the session is online or in person, it's the quality of therapeutic connection, and that's something I'm committed to building with you in our online work.
