About me
Hi, I’m Haleigh. I believe that we all deserve acceptance and to feel good enough. Lots of my work with clients includes finding ways to feel better about yourself, speak to yourself kindly and learn more about yourself through our work together.
I know that when life feels hard, talking to someone can seem overwhelming. Sometimes, it might feel like you don’t know where to start, and that’s okay. Working together, my aim is to give you a safe space without judgement to be able to open up and talk about what’s been happening for you as we build trust.
Reaching out to a counsellor is the first step in your journey towards making changes in your life, and my aim is to walk and work with you side-by-side, with warmth, empathy and understanding, as you undertake this personal journey.
I am experienced in working with young people and adults, including those with neurodiversity and special educational needs, and offer sessions in a calming therapy room in Hythe, or over Zoom.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am trained in Therapeutic Integrative Counselling, which means my approach is informed by a variety of styles of counselling. My aim is for us to find a unique approach that works for you. I believe that there is no 'one-size fits all' approach to counselling, and our work together will be informed by your own experiences, to suit you as an individual.
I offer both short and long-term counselling, depending on what you would like to bring to our work together.
I am experienced in working with young people and adults, and I am a member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists.
Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
