About us
Group therapy works for a range of difficulties and life situations. For many it is a more affordable way of accessing therapy. This group is facilitated by Debra Nash, an experienced Group Analyst and Psychodynamic Psychotherapist.
A group can help you to feel less alone with your anxieties and distress. It is also concerned with uncovering undeveloped hopes, wishes and creativity.
You may not have considered group therapy before but it's based on the understanding that we live in families, social and work groups and that relationships are central to our wellbeing. A therapy group provides an ideal setting in which to explore how past and present relationships affect you and to develop new ways of relating to others.
Group therapy can provoke some anxiety initially. This is natural. If you are interested, start by having a look at www.grouptherapyshrewsbury.com. If you're still interested, get in touch with me and in the first instance I would meet with you for an initial no-fee consultation.
I look forward to hearing from you.
