About me

As a qualified Therapeutic Counsellor, I can help with anxiety, depression, life transitions or relationship/family difficulties. But also when things are less clear maybe things just don’t feel right. Or you might be struggling with a work-related issue. I provide a calm, receptive space where you can be deeply heard. Together we can find a fresh way to make sense of what’s going on and how to move forward. With couples, it's often a question of rebuilding the connection, navigating conflict and understanding what patterns are getting in the way.

My integrative training means I have a range of approaches. Different clients respond to different things and I see each client as unique so the therapy adapts to you, to meet you where you are. Together we'll discover how you've arrived at this point so you have a choice about what comes next.

A good place to start would be to get in touch via email. I offer a free 30-minute initial chat to discuss what you want to get out of the sessions.

Training, qualifications & experience

I'm a qualified psychotherapeutic counsellor and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. I trained at ReVision in London.  Additionally, I've undertaken training in group facilitation, meditation and couples therapy.

Prior to my private practice, I volunteered at mental health charity, Mind as a counsellor. Therefore, I have experience working with a wide range of people from a variety of backgrounds. And I offer both long-term and short-term sessions, online and in-person.

Before training to be a therapist, I had an international career in the creative industries. Therefore, I have a good understanding of what corporate life involves and the stresses, strains and demands that come with that.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
