About me
I am a highly skilled accredited psychotherapist and supervisor with over 10 years of experience in mental health and wellbeing, working across charity organisations, the NHS, private sector services and my own private practice. I also worked at the University of Cambridge, supporting both students and staff. I have supported adults of all ages from diverse backgrounds, helping them navigate a wide range of life challenges and difficulties.
My areas of special interest include trauma (PTSD), relationship/family issues, trauma, self-esteem, identity, anxiety, burnout, and long-term health conditions. I have worked with people from a wide range of backgrounds and bring a calm, grounded, and thoughtful approach to the work.
I offer both short-term focused counselling and longer-term therapy, depending on your needs. My approach is based on building a strong and collaborative therapeutic relationship, where together we can identify and explore patterns of thought, feeling, and behaviour. The aim is to gain deeper insight and work towards more constructive and manageable ways of responding to life’s challenges.
Many who seek therapy may appear to “have it all,” yet quietly feel lost, disconnected, or trapped in overthinking and self-doubt. The strategies that built their lives no longer sustain their emotional wellbeing or sense of purpose. Together, we’ll explore your story, build emotional clarity, and restore a confident, grounded sense of self, whilst taking meaningful steps forward.
I am trained to master’s level in psychotherapy and hold postgraduate diplomas in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (SFCBT) and PTSD management. As a registered accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I work to high professional and ethical standards.
In addition to my clinical work, I am a qualified supervisor and provide supervision to counsellors, psychotherapists, and mental health professionals at all stages of their careers, including those in training.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
