About me
I work with my clients in a supportive, non-judgemental, and relational manner. It is a privilege to listen to people’s problems, and I believe in the power of therapy. I will listen to what you have to say and support you to a deeper understanding of yourself and your life. I work with clients in a warm and friendly way. I have experience in student support in a university setting and in grief and bereavement counselling. I also offer general, open-ended therapy.
I have an interest in working with neurodivergent clients, although everyone is welcome.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am an Individual Member of the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (no. 01042100), an Accredited Registrant member of the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society (no. NCPS4150) and a Trainee Member of the UK Council for Psychotherapy (no. 2011189962).
I am a final year student on a 4-year part-time MSc degree course in Integrative Psychotherapy. I am training at the Sherwood Psychotherapy Institute (SPTI) in Nottingham and this MSc award is validated by Staffordshire University.

In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
