MSc Integrative Therapist for Anxiety, Burnout & Trauma|BACP

About me

Welcome, I’m Gona.

You may be feeling anxious more often than you’d like, emotionally exhausted, or finding it difficult to cope with the pressures of work or everyday life. Perhaps you’re navigating a relationship breakdown, coping with grief or loss, struggling with burnout, or feeling caught in difficult patterns around food, emotions, or control. You may also find that past experiences continue to affect how you feel about yourself, your relationships, or your day-to-day life.

Whatever has brought you here, you don’t have to face it alone.

I understand that reaching out for therapy can feel daunting, especially if you’ve been carrying everything on your own for a long time. Taking that first step takes courage, and my aim is to offer a space where you can slow down, feel genuinely heard, and begin making sense of whatever you’re experiencing.

I offer a warm, compassionate, and non-judgemental space where you can speak openly without fear of being judged. I work in a calm, down-to-earth, and client-led way, moving at a pace that feels right for you. I see therapy as a collaborative process, where we work together to understand your experiences with curiosity rather than criticism, helping you develop greater self-awareness, resilience, and confidence.

As an integrative therapist, I draw on a range of evidence-based approaches, including Person-Centred Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Transactional Analysis. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor therapy to your individual needs because no two people, or their experiences, are the same.

I have a particular interest in supporting people experiencing anxiety, burnout, work-related stress, trauma, eating difficulties, and grief and loss. Many of the struggles we experience today make sense when we begin to understand the experiences that shaped us. Together, we can explore these patterns, develop a deeper understanding of yourself, and work towards creating meaningful and lasting change.

I welcome people from all backgrounds, identities, and communities, and strive to create an inclusive space where you feel respected, understood, and supported throughout your therapeutic journey.

If something here resonates with you, I’d be delighted to hear from you. I offer a free, no-obligation introductory call where we can talk about what has brought you to therapy, answer any questions you may have, and explore whether working together feels like the right fit.

I offer online therapy sessions across the UK, providing flexible and accessible support from the comfort and privacy of your own space.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
