About me
In order to facilitate the lasting change you may be looking for, my work is dedicated to a deeper awareness of the self and of the stories that shape us that cause difficulties. I am committed to respecting the complexities of emotional life, and those parts that often go unspoken and unseen.
It's about creating a trustworthy, non-judgmental space, where we can explore the hidden material shaping your feelings and relationships. Whether you're grappling with depression, anxiety, trauma, loss, or long-standing struggles around dependency or identity, we work together to uncover patterns that might be holding you back or be disruptive. You may or may not be in acute crises, but feel disconnected from others, from yourself, of from a sense of meaning or purpose.
Often our unresolved material is buried deep in the unconscious. It's about making sense of what's repressed or forgotten. The analysis of dreams and other unconscious phenomena are important elements of this work.
I support you to face what's difficult at your own pace, helping you to reclaim agency over your inner world, fostering an authentic self-awareness, and better relationships with yourself and others. Ours will be a high-stakes and collaborative relationship. One that is committed not just to understanding, but to meaningful and lasting change.

Training, qualifications & experience
I trained at the Guild of Psychotherapists, a pluralist school of psychoanalytic psychotherapy. Although I draw on a broad range of theoretical thinking and approaches, the work emerges out of the unique encounter between us. I strive to provide a tailored and flexible response to your unique internal situation.
I began my clinical practice at the Rock Clinic in Brighton & Hove, at the Guild Clinic in Southwark and with psychiatric in-patients in the NHS. I continue to support the Guild Clinic as a member of the clinic committee.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
