About me
My mission is to offer a warm safe open and empathic environment where my clients can explore their emotions in confidence and without fear or judgment.
You might be seeking therapy because you are feeling that you are not coping with some aspect of your life, either at work or in your relationships. Maybe you have lost a sense of purpose in your life or you are finding it hard to enjoy the things you did enjoy. You might have experienced a traumatic event in your life which has left you feeling your world has collapsed and you are struggling to cope. Are you struggling with anxiety, stress, depression, trauma? Have you suffered bereavement? Is your self confidence at an all time low due to events in your life? If any part of this statement speaks out to you please get in touch.
I am a qualified Psychotherapeutic Counsellor. What that means is that I'm able to introduce a variety of psychotherapeutic traditions and theories into my work.
I offer one-to-one counselling and psychotherapy for adults and young people - providing a confidential and non-judgmental space to explore your concerns. Together we can identify what you would like to gain from the work. From there, we can agree a suitable time-frame (whether time limited or open-ended) and a suitable approach for you (e.g. the level of support and challenge that would suit you). I am pleased to offer every prospective new client a free, no obligation, first consultation so we can meet, chat, ask questions, put faces to names and see how we get on together.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Further information
I am passionate about counselling. I am passionate about offering the best service I can to my clients. I recognise that there are times in everyone’s life where we experience difficulties and we may need someone to listen and to be with us. I feel humbled every time a client feels safe enough to share their experiences with me, trust is one of the biggest goals to achieve in a therapeutic relationship, and when a client ends their counselling and they leave feeling that they have achieved their goals I am proud that I have been allowed to walk their journey with them.
