About me

🟢 BACP Registered Member, qualified with a Master’s degree (BACP accredited)
🟢 Working with people from age 11+
🟢 Free 15-minute consultation, online or by phone

Welcome! I am a person-centred psychotherapist specializing in supporting professionals and young people (11+) with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, low self-confidence, bereavement, stress, loneliness, social anxiety, health anxiety, and perfectionism. My approach is compassionate, non-judgmental, and tailored to meet your unique needs, helping you navigate life’s challenges with clarity and confidence.

Having spent over 20 years as a project manager and teacher, I deeply understand the pressures of high-stakes environments—tight deadlines, competing priorities, and the impact of stress on mental health. Now, I use this experience to help professionals manage workplace stress, overcome perfectionism, and build resilience for a healthier work-life balance.

Alongside this, I am passionate about supporting young people as they navigate academic pressures, social anxiety, low self-confidence, and emotional struggles. My work with young clients focuses on creating a safe, understanding space where they can express themselves freely and develop coping strategies for anxiety, stress, and self-doubt.

Flexible Therapy Options:
✔ Online sessions – Secure video sessions via Google Meet or Teams (UK-wide)
✔ Phone sessions – Accessible counselling from the comfort of your own space (UK-wide)
✔ In-person sessions – Held in a private, comfortable space in Greater Manchester

Fluent in English and Romanian, I am proud to provide culturally sensitive therapy that is inclusive and accessible to a diverse range of clients.

Take the first step toward a more balanced and fulfilling life. Whether you're navigating workplace stress, anxiety, self-doubt, grief, or life transitions, or seeking support for your teen, I’m here to help.

📩 Contact me today to schedule your free 15-minute consultation and begin your journey to well-being.

Training, qualifications & experience

I hold the following qualifications:

MSc in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Keele University, accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP)

BSc in Psychology with Counselling and Psychotherapy from Manchester Metropolitan University

In addition to my professional qualifications, I bring over two decades of experience as a teacher and project manager. This background equips me with a unique perspective on workplace stress and interpersonal challenges, which I incorporate into my work with clients.

My experience also includes placements working with adults, children, and young people across various modalities, including face-to-face, online, and telephone counselling. Additionally, my work as a peer support worker and lived experience forum coordinator at TOG Mind has deepened my understanding of mental health and the transformative power of therapy.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
