About me

In a world that often disconnects us from ourselves, it’s easy to find we’re “doing fine” on the outside while feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or unfulfilled inside. So many of us keep going, holding our careers, relationships, and responsibilities together, while sensing that something’s not quite right.

I offer a warm, welcoming space where you can slow down, be yourself, and feel what needs to be felt. We’ll explore what’s been shaping your thoughts, emotions, and relationships so you can feel more connected to yourself, more confident in your choices, and more able to navigate life with steadiness and self-trust.

My approach is compassionate, curious, and grounded in real human connection. Therapy can be deep work, but it can also be relieving, light, and full of warmth. You don’t need to be "perfect", have the “right words” or be “good” at therapy, this is a space where you can come as you are, with all that you carry.

I work integratively and trauma-informed, drawing on person-centred, psychodynamic, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) approaches, with an embodied and relational focus. Where it feels supportive, I weave in elements of empowerment-based coaching to help you build clarity, confidence, and meaningful change alongside emotional healing.

Areas I often work with include:
– Anxiety, stress & overwhelm
– Trauma & attachment issues
– Perfectionism & overthinking
– Low self-worth, shame & guilt
– People-pleasing & co-dependency
– Eating disorders & body image

If you’re ready to feel more grounded, supported, and connected to yourself, and to live with greater authenticity, ease, and self-trust, I’d love to hear from you. You’re welcome to reach out for a free consultation.

Training, qualifications & experience

I hold a BACP Approved Postgraduate Diploma in Integrative Therapeutic Counselling, a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology and an Undergraduate Degree in Psychology. I have specialised training in empowerment and purpose coaching, trauma-informed practices, and working with eating disorders.

During my career, I have worked as a counsellor for a charity, senior empowerment coach for an international coaching business, women's recovery coach at a specialised clinic for women with trauma and eating disorders, assistant psychologist for an NHS, and a therapeutic support worker in a children and young adult psychiatric eating disorder unit.

Alongside one-to-one sessions, I have led numerous group sessions, workshops, and international retreats. I am committed to creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel supported and empowered to explore, heal, and achieve lasting change.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
