About me
I am an integrative counsellor who believes that feeling truly heard, understood, and supported can be a powerful part of change. I offer a warm, calm and steady presence, creating a space where you don't have to pretend or hold it all together.
People come to counselling for all sorts of reasons. Maybe you're feeling overwhelmed, anxious, low, stuck in old patterns, or simply unsure of what you're feeling. Whatever brings you here, we'll work together to make sense of things at your pace, in a way that feels safe and respectful.
My approach is integrative, which means I draw on different theories and ways of working depending on what suits you best. At the heart of my work is a belief in the importance of the relationship between us, because it's often through connection that healing begins. I pay attention to both what's said and unsaid, and I use gentle, honest conversation to explore how past experiences may be affecting you now.
Alongside talking therapy, I offer creative ways of working, such as using imagery, drawing, dreams, or writing. This is especially useful when words are hard to find. You don't need to be "creative" or artistic; these approaches can simply offer another way to express and explore what's going on inside.
I bring insights from working with people of all ages, including from my time caring for babies, which taught me a lot about how we respond to stress and what helps us feel secure. I'll support you to tune into your own thoughts, feelings and needs - especially the ones that have been pushed aside or hard to name.
You don't have to go through things alone. If you're ready to start exploring what's going on, or even if you're just curious about therapy, I'm here to support you.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
