About me
Hello, I'm Fran.
Life can sometimes feel overwhelming, leaving you feeling anxious, stuck, emotionally exhausted, or unsure of how to move forward. You may be struggling with anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, or the impact of past experiences that continue to affect your life today. Whatever has brought you here, you don't have to face it alone.
I offer a warm, compassionate, and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly and explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace. I believe that being truly heard and understood can be the first step towards meaningful change.
As an integrative counsellor, I tailor therapy to your individual needs, drawing on different approaches to support you in a way that feels right for you. I have a particular interest in helping people understand how childhood experiences, trauma, and past relationships can shape the way they think, feel, and relate to others in the present.
Together, we can explore the challenges you are facing, make sense of difficult emotions, and identify patterns that may be holding you back. My aim is to help you develop greater self-awareness, build resilience, and feel more empowered to make positive changes in your life.
Whether you are experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, or simply feeling lost or overwhelmed, I am here to support you with warmth, empathy, and understanding.
Taking the first step towards counselling can feel daunting, but you don't have to do it alone. I offer a free 30-minute online assessment, giving us an opportunity to discuss what brings you to therapy and whether we feel like the right fit to work together.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and hold a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling. I have also undertaken extensive additional training in trauma, anxiety, inner child work, and couples and family dynamics.
As an integrative counsellor, I tailor therapy to meet your individual needs rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. This means we can work in a way that feels right for you, whether you are looking for support with a current challenge, struggling with difficult emotions, or wanting to understand how past experiences may be affecting your life today.
My additional training enables me to support clients in exploring deeper emotional patterns, processing difficult experiences, strengthening relationships, and developing greater self-awareness. Together, we can work towards helping you feel more confident, resilient, and better equipped to navigate life's challenges.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
