About me

Hello, I'm Francesca, a warm and empathetic Humanistic Counsellor dedicated to accompanying you on your journey toward healing and self-discovery. I understand that life’s challenges can feel overwhelming, and I’m here to offer you a supportive, non-judgmental space where you can safely explore your thoughts and emotions.

 Testimonials

“You have helped me believing in myself and acknowledge strength i didn’t know I had in me, thank you”

Life's highs and lows are a natural part of the human experience, but when the lows seem unending, talking therapy can be a powerful tool for gaining new perspectives. My role is to walk alongside you as a facilitator of change, helping you uncover the insights and strengths that reside within. Our work together might involve exploring past experiences to better understand your present, while also addressing the everyday challenges you face.

Issues like depression, anxiety, and low self-esteem often arise from unmet needs during different stages of life. In our sessions, I use an integrative approach that combines various therapeutic techniques tailored to your unique needs. I believe that counselling is a collaborative journey where we focus on what’s most meaningful to you. I’m here to help you navigate difficult thoughts and emotions, offering gentle guidance as you work through your worries and anxieties. Together, we’ll strive for clarity on the aspects of your life that feel confusing, using reflection and insight to create a more fulfilling present.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
