About me

Francesca is a very kind and compassionate lady who took me through a difficult journey for me with skill and empathy. She has a very professional way of dealing with complex and emotional issues and I cannot speak more highly of her

Hello, I’m Francesca — a warm, empathetic Humanistic Counsellor dedicated to supporting you on your journey of healing and self-discovery. I understand that life’s challenges can sometimes feel overwhelming, which is why I offer a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions freely and at your own pace.

My Approach
Life’s highs and lows are part of being human. But when the lows feel persistent or difficult to manage, talking therapy can offer valuable relief and perspective. My role is to walk alongside you — not to lead or judge — but to support you as a compassionate companion and facilitator of change.

Together, we might look at past experiences to understand how they shape your present, while also exploring the challenges you’re facing right now. My integrative approach draws on different therapeutic techniques, always guided by what feels most meaningful and helpful to you.

What clients say

"When I first enquired about seeing Francesca, there wasn't one specific thing I wanted help with, so I didn't really know where to start. Francesca let me take sessions at my own pace, helping me understand my emotions and develop ways to cope in varying situations. There was never any rush or judgment, and sessions always felt very safe. I cannot thank Fran enough for how she has helped me manage my anxiety and take steps in my personal life that I would have never thought were possible. I would highly recommend Francesca to anyone looking to understand and manage their anxieties."

“Francesca’s approach created a safe, non-judgmental space where I felt truly heard and accepted. Through gentle guidance and genuine empathy, she helped me reconnect with my inner strengths and rebuild confidence in myself.”

“From the first session, Francesca made me feel heard, understood, and most importantly not judged. She didn’t push me too fast or try to ‘fix’ me. Instead, she helped me explore where my anxiety was coming from, and we worked together to find tools that felt manageable and realistic for me.”

If you’re feeling anxious, low in self-esteem, or simply unsure where to begin, reaching out can feel daunting. But you don’t have to face it alone. I’m here to offer you a safe space, at your pace, where together we can work towards greater clarity, confidence, and emotional wellbeing.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information

Your journey matters — and you don’t have to navigate it alone.

Moving to a new country is more than just a change of address — it’s a deeply personal experience that can bring both excitement and uncertainty. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, isolated, or unsure of how to find your footing, you’re not alone.

As someone who’s been through this transition myself, I understand the emotions that come with starting over in an unfamiliar place. Together, we can explore what you need to feel more grounded, connected, and truly at home — wherever you are.

Let’s take this next step side by side, at your pace, in a way that honours your experiences and values.
