About me
Hello, I’m Francesca a warm, empathetic Humanistic Counsellor dedicated to supporting you on your journey of healing and self-discovery. I understand that life’s challenges can sometimes feel overwhelming. That’s why I offer a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions freely and at your own pace.
My Approach
Life’s highs and lows are part of being human. But when the lows feel persistent or difficult to manage, talking therapy can offer valuable relief and perspective. My role is to walk alongside you, not to lead or judge, but to support you as a compassionate companion and facilitator of change.
Together, we may look at past experiences to understand how they shape your present. We’ll also address current challenges, working gently through any difficult thoughts or emotions you’re facing. My integrative approach draws on various therapeutic techniques tailored to your unique needs, always guided by what feels most meaningful and important to you.
Testimonial
“ Reaching out for help was terrifying. I almost cancelled my first session out of fear that I wouldn’t know what to say. But I’m so glad I didn’t. From the first session, Francesca made me feel heard, understood, and most importantly not judged. She didn’t push me too fast or try to “fix” me. Instead, she helped me explore where my anxiety was coming from, and we worked together to find tools that felt manageable and realistic for me”
” I can’t thank Francesca enough for the support and understanding she provided during a time when my self-esteem was at its lowest. Francesca’s approach created a safe, non-judgmental space where I felt truly heard and accepted. Through gentle guidance and genuine empathy, she helped me reconnect with my inner strengths and rebuild confidence in myself. I’ve come away with not only a stronger sense of self, but also tools I can carry forward in everyday life. I highly recommend Francesca to anyone struggling with self-worth”

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Your journey matters — and you don’t have to navigate it alone.
Moving to a new country is more than just a change of address — it’s a deeply personal experience that can bring both excitement and uncertainty. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, isolated, or unsure of how to find your footing, you’re not alone.
As someone who’s been through this transition myself, I understand the emotions that come with starting over in an unfamiliar place. Together, we can explore what you need to feel more grounded, connected, and truly at home — wherever you are.
Let’s take this next step side by side, at your pace, in a way that honours your experiences and values.
