About me
- CORONAVIRUS UPDATE:
- Due to the continued need for counselling, I am now offering telephone and sessions via Skype, WhatsApp and Messenger.
I offer affordable face to face counselling sessions(£40) in two different locations, Wrexham and Penley. I also offer online counselling via SKYPE or WhatsApp.
After several traumatic years, and numerous problems in my life I engaged in therapy, which changed my life. I was really scared, as I imagine you may be? Therapy gave me the courage and the strength to begin my life again. I have never looked back. My training has allowed me to work in doctor surgeries and now in Private practice.
What is Counselling?
Counselling is a talking therapy, with a trained professional. It offers the opportunity for you to explore any issues you may be experiencing. As the client, YOU are in complete charge of the sessions, YOU are the master of your own destiny.
What can I do for YOU?
Anxiety, depression and stress are serious issues that I can help you address and explore . Counselling helps you find your inner strength and empower you to become a happier person. We can, together, find an emotional path for your journey to a new you.
I offer a safe and confidential space for you to talk and explore any issues you may be facing. Life can be such a struggle at times, and everyone needs someone to listen without judgement.
I am a Person centred therapist, which means that you, the client will be in charge. We can talk about whatever you wish to bring to the sessions. I will be there to support you through an emotional, yet hopefully cathartic journey to a happier and healthier you.
I have two therapy rooms, one located in Kelso House, Grosvenor Road Wrexham, on the first floor. Parking is available. I also have a therapy room located in the small rural village of Penley, where discretion is paramount, and parking is free.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership

Accredited Register Scheme
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
