About me
Hi, welcome to my profile.
You may be looking for someone you can really talk to, someone who will listen to what you are currently going through. You may have experienced a form of loss, hardship or grief, or maybe you are feeling overwhelmed, noticing past trauma having an impact on your present life. You may be feeling unheard, stuck in unhealthy relationships, or feeling lonely or lost.
I can help you to explore your experiences, thoughts and feelings and work through your difficulties. It can be hard to take the first step in reaching out and finding the right support for you. If you feel uncertain, I can assure you that I offer a welcoming, caring and supportive environment where your story is heard and acknowledged.
About me
For almost 5 years, I have been involved in a supportive role focusing on the care and needs of young people and children. During this time, I pursued my Counselling Diploma in order to specialise in supporting the emotional wellbeing of adults and to be a part of their personal growth.
Beyond my training, I continue to witness the remarkable journey of my clients that has been enabled by providing a safe space for them where they feel heard and comfortable to explore their experiences. This has helped them to move forward and create positive changes in their lives. I have witnessed that truly listening to my clients and developing trust has been an important part of the therapeutic process.
Getting in touch
If you are looking for a safe and non-judgmental space and would like to reach out, I am happy to arrange a free 15 minute consultation. We can talk about any questions or concerns you might have about counselling or how a session might feel like. There is no obligation following this but if you would like to book in your first session, we can arrange this whenever you feel ready. You can take time to reflect on your next steps before contacting me again.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
I completed my training hours at a Women Centre and continue as a therapist here post-qualification. Working with female clients has given me a rich and valuable insight into a broad range of women’s issues, difficulties, mental health experiences and challenges.
I have supported my clients with bereavement, chronic illness, trauma, relationships, attachment patterns, setting boundaries, low self-esteem, child separation, divorce, single parenting, sexual assault, domestic abuse and many other life experiences and challenges.
I am an integrative practitioner and tailor my counselling approach according to your pace and needs. I work in a person-centred way, which means that getting to know and understand you is at the centre of our work together. I integrate aspects of CBT and the psychodynamic approach where this would be helpful. I am also open to working creatively with arts and craft materials if this is something you would like to use within a session.
I am culturally and religiously sensitive personally and in my work. This means that I have an open understanding of how cultural and religious factors may inform, influence and impact your life experiences.
