About me

Many people try to cope alone for a long time before reaching out for help. Perhaps your mind feels constantly busy or stuck in loops of worry. You might feel on edge, mentally exhausted, or frustrated that reassurance and distraction only help briefly. You may be struggling with intrusive or obsessive thoughts, low mood, painful memories, or persistent self-doubt that gets in the way of living the life you want.

Whatever you're experiencing, you don't have to keep managing it alone.

How therapy can help

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is one of the most thoroughly researched and effective psychological treatments available. Rather than simply talking through difficulties, CBT helps you understand the specific patterns — in thoughts, behaviours, and physical responses — that are keeping your symptoms going. We then work together on practical, evidence-based strategies to break those cycles and build more helpful ways of responding.

This is structured, goal-focused therapy with a clear direction — and it's delivered with warmth and at a pace that works for you.

My approach

I'm a BABCP-accredited CBT Therapist (the UK's leading accreditation for CBT) with over five years' experience working in both NHS and private settings. I specialise in anxiety disorders — including generalised anxiety, panic disorder, health anxiety, social anxiety, OCD, phobias, and emetophobia, depression and low mood, PTSD and trauma, low self-esteem and low self-confidence. I use evidence-based protocols tailored to each condition, and where helpful, I adapt my approach for autistic or ADHD traits.

What to expect

Starting therapy can feel daunting, particularly if you've been coping alone or haven't tried it before. Sessions are collaborative and practical — focused on real change, not just understanding. You'll never be pushed to share more than feels comfortable, and we work at a pace that suits you.

Online and in-person sessions

I offer online therapy via secure video call, which means you can access CBT from anywhere in the UK — from the comfort of your own home, with no commute and no waiting rooms. I also see clients in person in North Norfolk.

What next?

If you're unsure whether CBT is right for you, or you'd simply like to ask a few questions before committing, I offer a brief, no-obligation introductory call. Get in touch — I'm happy to hear from you.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a BABCP-accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist — the UK's gold standard accreditation for CBT practitioners — with over five years of clinical experience working with adults in both NHS and private settings.

I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy from the University of East Anglia (2024), a Postgraduate Certificate in Low Intensity CBT from the University of East Anglia (2020), and an MSc in Psychology from the University of Derby (2017). My training has given me in-depth grounding in evidence-based protocols for anxiety disorders, OCD, PTSD and trauma, depression, and related difficulties — and my NHS background means I have worked with a wide range of presentations and levels of complexity.

In practice, this means you'll receive therapy that is properly structured, grounded in current research, and tailored to your specific difficulties — not a generic talking therapy, but a targeted approach with a clear rationale and direction.
