About me

Hi, my name is Euan, and I am an integrative counsellor who is based in South and East London. I currently work online and in person in E2 and the surrounding area.

I really embody that the person seeking support is the expert and that I am on the journey with them. I have worked in housing support, addiction and learning disabilities and bring this learning to my practice. I am a non-binary, neurodiverse, queer, white, Scottish person.

I work in an intersectional approach and believe that everyone has a unique experience of the world and look at ways to understand this experience. I work non-judgementally and welcome a discussion about privilege and oppression that can be enacted in the therapeutic space. I have worked with LGBTQIA+ people and have experience working with Gender, Sex and Relationship diverse clients, I work one-to-one with adults over 18.

I offer support to clients that are transitioning, who are exploring their gender, people who have used substances in the past, depression, anxiety, neurodiversity and people who have experienced homelessness.

In the process of therapy, we can work on your experience of life the present and the past. We can explore how patterns are playing out with people and in your life. I can work open ended and time limited depending on what works best for you.

I have been trained in Person centred, Cognitive behavioural therapy and Psychodynamic within a relational framework. I see the relationship being the driver of change and focus on building a strong and trusting relationship with people. I adapt my therapeutic approach to suit you and your needs.

We can arrange a 15-minute call to discuss.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
