About me
I am Erin, founder of Soul Sanctuary Counselling and Wellbeing. Soul Sanctuary is a place where you can pause, breathe and begin to reconnect with your thoughts, your body and your sense of self. Soul Sanctuary a warm, comfortable space based at the edge of a wood, a secluded and tranquil setting, near Oundle, Corby and a short drive from Stamford.
I offer a supportive space for adults and children (8+). My approach is to create a safe, supportive space where every client feels heard and valued. I offer face-to-face counselling and often run wellbeing workshops across Northamptonshire.
One of the things I feel strongly about in counselling is that there is no one size fits all approach. Every person brings their own story, journey, experiences and emotions because of this every session is unique. I work integratively, drawing from a range of techniques and modalities, person centred, CBT and mindfulness to help clients explore their challenges and find what work for them.
My aim is to offer a calm, warm, non-judgemental space where you do not have to have everything figured out before you come. You don't need to find the right words. Together, we can begin to explore what is happening and building to feeling more confident, connected and in control of your life.
I specialise is working with trauma, abuse, anxiety and stress, OCD, Identity confusion, family issues & conflict, low confidence, lack of direction & burnout.
Finding the right counsellor is so personal and important, I offer a free 15 minute telephone consultation. This gives you a chance to ask any questions and get a feel for who I am and how I work. There is no pressure or obligation to book a session after the consultation.
Your journey is unique. Your counselling should be too.
