About me
I’m a qualified counsellor who believes everyone deserves a place where they can be heard without judgement.
Whether you’re navigating stress, relationship difficulties, echoes of childhood trauma, or a major life shift, we can work together at a pace that feels safe, manageable, and right for you.
Some experiences are unsettling, uncomfortable, or difficult to put into words.
My role is to offer a relationship built on trust; a space where you can talk, pause, or simply breathe until you feel ready to explore what’s coming up, gently and without pressure.
In our work, we’ll gently explore the patterns and behaviours that may once have served as protection but are now holding you back.
Together, we’ll develop new strategies to help you move forward with clarity and confidence.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a BACP qualified counsellor.
I have 20 years’ experience working within the NHS, alongside all staff, medical trainees, doctors, and consultants across both the private sector and the NHS, understanding how busy, stressful, and pressured life can be.
I offer flexible access -because shift patterns and on‑call rotas make weekly slots more difficult.
Non‑judgemental space -as many fear being seen and heard in this way as “not coping”
Understanding how early experiences quietly shape the way you move through the world now.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

It’s completely natural to feel a sense of apprehension when reaching out for support. Taking this first step can be an important part of understanding yourself more deeply, and I’m here to make that process as comfortable as possible.
