About me
Hello I’m Emma,
My approach is grounded in Transactional Analysis (TA) and Somatic Experiencing, a body-based trauma therapy developed by Peter Levine. Somatic Experiencing works with the mind-body connection, supporting growth, healing from trauma and finding ease in the mind, nervous system, and the body. This approach underpins my work as a Psychotherapist.
I offer individuals, couples and groups support through life’s transitions, both in-person and online.
I focus on how intergenerational trauma is carried through family systems, affecting not only our emotional and psychological wellbeing but also our physical and spiritual health. We will work together to uncover the ways in which these patterns may have influenced your life and find ways to support you in reclaiming agency, healing, and integrating your life experiences into a healthier, more empowered sense of self.
Through studies and experience, I am committed to ongoing growth. I am currently working towards becoming a Certified Transactional Analyst and incorporating Somatic Sex Therapy training into my practice.
I believe strongly in the healing potential of connecting with nature, play, and pleasure; harnessing the body's innate capacity for recovery. I am passionate about the concept of post-traumatic growth and find great meaning in accompanying individuals on their journey towards healing and transformation.
