About me
I’m Emma, a trauma-trained psychotherapist offering somatic, sex, and relational therapy—online and in-person. I help individuals and couples heal through nervous system regulation, body-based awareness, and emotional integration.
If you’ve tried traditional talking therapy but still feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected, you’re not alone. Sometimes, the body holds what words can’t express. My work brings together Transactional Analysis (TA) and Somatic Experiencing®—a body-based trauma therapy developed by Dr. Peter Levine—along with training in Somatic Sex Therapy to support deeper healing.
These approaches gently work with the nervous system and the mind-body connection, helping you process trauma, regulate emotional responses, and reconnect with a sense of safety, ease, and self-agency.
I offer trauma-informed therapy for individuals, couples, and groups, both in-person and online, creating flexible options to meet you where you are.
A key focus of my practice is intergenerational trauma—the patterns and emotional wounds passed down through family systems that can affect your mental, physical, and spiritual wellbeing. Together, we’ll explore how these patterns may be impacting your life today, and work to shift them—supporting healing, resilience, and a more empowered, embodied sense of self.
I also believe in the healing power of nature, pleasure, and play, and in the body’s natural ability to recover and thrive. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that post-traumatic growth is possible for everyone.
It’s a privilege to walk alongside people on their journey toward wholeness, healing, and transformation.
