About me
Taking the first step towards therapy can feel overwhelming, but it doesn’t have to be. I provide a warm, approachable, and non-judgmental space where you can speak openly about whatever may be troubling you. My goal is to make the process as comfortable and supportive as possible, so you feel heard and understood from the very first session.
I take a compassionate, relational approach, keeping our conversations clear and free from unnecessary jargon. Together, we’ll explore your experiences and challenges in a way that feels meaningful and purposeful. Therapy with me is about helping you gain insight, build clarity, and move forward at your own pace.
Whether you are feeling stuck, anxious, overwhelmed, or simply need a safe space to reflect, I offer both short-term and longer-term counselling tailored to your needs. I do not tell you what to do or make decisions on your behalf — instead, I listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions, and guide you toward finding your own solutions with confidence and clarity.
Therapy can sometimes be challenging, particularly when exploring difficult emotions or experiences, but it can also be deeply empowering and transformative. I believe that, wherever you are in life, counselling can help you find balance, self-awareness, and a renewed sense of peace.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a qualified Person-Centred Counsellor and NLP Practitioner, offering a compassionate and supportive approach tailored to each individual client. My training enables me to work relationally and empathetically, helping clients explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences within a safe and non-judgmental environment.
I also have specialist experience supporting survivors of domestic abuse and trauma, having previously worked within a women’s refuge. This experience allows me to provide sensitive and empowering support to those navigating complex and difficult experiences.
I am BACP registered and committed to ongoing professional development, ensuring that my practice is ethical, safe, and centred around your individual needs.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

To help you feel confident before booking, I provide a free 15-minute introductory call. This is a chance to discuss your needs, ask any questions, and decide whether we might be the right fit for each other.
Our first full session allows us to explore what has brought you to therapy, discuss your goals, and begin to understand how we might work together moving forward.
As a BACP registered counsellor, I work in line with their ethical framework, ensuring a safe, professional, and confidential space for all clients.
