About me

Existential, relational and embodied therapy
People often come to therapy feeling that something in their life no longer fits even if they can’t quite explain why. They may feel stuck, disconnected, or unsure of who they are becoming, particularly in relationships, intimacy, or their sense of self.

My work is rooted in existential, humanistic and phenomenological philosophies, and is relational and embodied in approach. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all or purely problem-solving stance, I offer a thoughtful space to slow down and explore your lived experience emotionally, relationally and in the body so that greater understanding and choice can emerge.

Together, we may explore themes such as meaning, identity, freedom, connection and responsibility, taking into account your past experiences, present circumstances, and the social and cultural contexts that shape your world. I may also use gentle, guided tools where helpful, particularly to support embodied awareness and emotional understanding.

Exploring sex, sexuality and intimacy
I have a particular interest in working with issues around sexuality, desire, intimacy and relational life. Alongside talking therapy, I bring an embodied focus to the work, supporting you to listen to your body, make sense of emotional responses, and reconnect with pleasure, presence and authenticity.

I welcome spirituality into the work in whatever way feels meaningful to you, whether through intuition, ritual, personal reflection, or a sense of something greater. Therapy with me is a space where all parts of you are invited in.

I am a queer-affirming, sex-positive and kink-aware therapist, and I work with people of all genders, sexualities and relationship styles.

I offer both open-ended and time-limited therapy, depending on your needs. If you are unsure whether I am the right fit, please feel free to reach out with any questions. Often, booking an initial session is the best way to see whether working together feels right for you.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

I also have experience in, and I am passionate about the emerging field of psychedelics and their potential benefits for mental health when consumed in a safe and legal environment. I am able to support those who have had challenging experiences with psychedelics or other altered states of consciousness and can help you process and integrate these experiences.
