About me

Hi - I'm Emma and I'm based in Euxton, Chorley.

I specialise in Bereavement and loss, anxiety and depression, low self-esteem, low self-confidence, Neurodivergence (Autism and ADHD); but I welcome all subjects to our sessions, including stress, panic attacks, loneliness to name a few. I understand that reaching out for Counselling is a big step - one that takes a lot of courage - and am happy to work with you to make it as easy and comfortable as I can.

I have a private, safe space to work together in person, or I can offer online sessions, home visits, or walk and talk (weather dependent) if those are more comfortable for you.

As a Person-centred counsellor, our sessions are just that - centred around you as a person. I wil sit with you and listen to what you have to say, walking that journey with you and finding the light at the end of the tunnel. Anxiety, low self-esteem or low self-confidence can play a big part in our lives, and those feelings are natural; we should never be judged for having them.

I'm a spiritual person - my counselling room doubles as a holistic healing space - so am also able to work through aspects of spirituality if that is your vibe!

If you'd like to get in touch to organise a free short introductory session, please click the 'Email Me' button, or alternatively, you can text/WhatsApp the number above.

Training, qualifications & experience

I hold a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and a wealth of experience in both bereavement and general counselling settings. I spend some of my time volunteering in a Hospice, providing counselling to patients or their families; this has afforded me some wonderful experience working with clients of all ages and backgrounds.

As a Neurodiverse person myself I have many years of lived experience with Autism and ADHD, and am able to work with you to ensure you feel listened to and respected; whether you have lived with it life long, are newly diagnosed, or even just aware it's a possibility and want to talk through it.

I am also a spiritual holistic healer, qualified in both Reiki and Crystal Healing, which can be adapted into sessions if that is something that can help!

I am NCPS (National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society) Accredited, so am held to their standard of Ethics and Code of Practice.
