About me
Are you looking for support to navigate through some difficult times? Whether you've had a recent happening, or there's something historical you'd like to reflect on, I might be able to help. I offer a safe, non-judgmental, confidential space where you can explore, make sense of, manage and transform those sometimes overwhelming thoughts, feelings, behaviours and emotions.
When appropriate, I integrate nature, mindfulness and offer therapeutic writing as a means of supporting your wellbeing, weaving in elements from various therapeutic approaches to best fit you as a unique individual.
I strive to empower people to discover their inner strength and balance. I help them understand the connection between what's going on in the external world and how that can affect our behaviour, feelings and thoughts. This knowledge helps us to handle life's triggers through choice.
Navigating significant life transitions—such as someone's death, a relationship breakdown, a recent loss, a change of job or home, a traumatic event, or a life-altering illness—I know can be tough. Reaching out for support takes courage, but understanding and working through symptoms of loss, grief, depression, low mood, stress or anxiety can be a vital step toward healing and living a more easeful life.
In addition to online sessions I work from Satori, a nature based healing retreat on the Blackdown Hills, bordering Somerset and Devon, equidistant between Taunton, Honiton and Wellington.
Satori is ancient and beautiful, filled with moss, small rivers and wildlife - ideal for stimulating our best healing. All first sessions are held online or indoors. Subsequent sessions can be out on the land if appropriate.

You'll likely not have heard of the next bit, it's still not well know in the UK: I am a Pesso Boyden System Psychomotor (PBSP) - 'psyche' meaning mind and 'motor' movement/body - psychotherapist.

Further information
Despite Bessel van der Kolk (one of the world's leading trauma experts) being a PBSP psychotherapist, which he writes about in chapter-18 of his excellent book 'The Body Keeps the Score', PBSP for some reason is still not well known. So here is a bit more information about it (you can also find more links and info on my website):
"Most therapies help you cope with issues, PBSP helps to resolve issues, creating deep change and healing.” Juliet Grayson - PBSP UK Trainer & UKCP Psychotherapist
PBSP is a unique, creative and liberating therapy which helps us become more empowered by letting go of old, unhelpful patterns of behaviour that limit us in the present. The method helps us create new ideal memories to fit (countershape) what we needed to have happened in the past, helps us become aware of our own therapeutic process, and supports us to feel grounded and attain a greater sense of self.
I offer PBSP one2one online or at Satori, as well as in groups.
In addition to PBSP psychotherapy and counselling, I offer reflexology--a deeply relaxing body based therapy. I work the reflexes on your feet or hands which helps to get your body in balance and in the best place to do its own healing, restoration and repair.
There are two accommodations at Satori available for guests to hire. You can create a retreat for yourself, mind, body and soul. As well as adding counselling and reflexology whilst submerging yourself in natures healing environment, you could also try your hand at weaving some crafts during your stay...all very mindful and calming for the body and mind...then doodle and write your journal under the illumination of the starry-night skies.
