Hi my name is Emily. I am a very empathic and caring person.
How are you finding this scary, strange situation of COVID that we find ourselves in? I can help you to look at what you can achieve in lockdown and see things from a different perspective, make the most out of a truly awful time. I provide a safe, confidential space and together we can explore any difficulties you may be experiencing or struggling with.
Maybe you just want somebody to listen to you and to feel heard?
We can work through your issues and help you to clarify and make sense of everything. My clients have said that they feel very comfortable and at ease talking to me and have found our sessions really helpful and uplifting.
It isn't easy choosing a therapist and I appreciate it may feel a daunting process. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions at all. I'm qualified, insured and registered with the BACP.
Due to the current pandemic I am offering online 'zoom video' calls and also 'telephone' until it is safe to do face to face.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Accredited Register Scheme
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
Areas of counselling I deal with
The first session is £20 and during this session we would discuss what type of counselling we would be using together, we would also go through our contract. If you would like to proceed with me then each 50 minute session would be £35 thereafter.
£20 inital 50 minute session
£35 per 50 minute session
I would politely ask that payment is to be paid in advance to our sessions. I can provide you with any further details should you wish to proceed. I can also explain to you how 'zoom' works and what you would need to do to set it up. I can provide all further details in an introductory email.
During counselling I would ask that you are in a quiet room during which our conversastions cannot be overheard, interrupted or viewed. I work from my office at home which provides a confidential environment.
