About me
My name is Emily and I am a fully qualified pluralistic counsellor, using concepts from a number of different modalities to best fit the client's needs. I would love to support you through life's challenges, from depression and anxiety to grief and bereavement. I particularly love working with young people (ages 14+) and have two years experience (and counting!) as a counsellor with The Mix, providing sessions for under 25s. I also have experience counselling adults at my local Mind.
My approach combines techniques from Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy and Psychodynamic Therapy. I offer remote counselling to ensure accessibility and comfort for my clients. Sessions can be by telephone or video, via Microsoft Teams or Zoom.
Reaching out for help is a big step - and a very brave one. Please contact me for a free 15 minute consultation. While demonstrating empathy and warmth, I will provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings.
