About me

I am a fully qualified counsellor (MBACP registered member), and I offer a thoughtful, collaborative approach to counselling grounded in person-centred values and informed by humanistic and existential philosophy.

Whether you're facing a specific difficulty or searching for a deeper understanding of yourself, I provide a professional space where meaningful reflection and lasting change can emerge.

I am an integrative counsellor offering both in-person and online therapy for adults. My practice is grounded in person-centred values and informed by humanistic and existential philosophy, bringing together evidence-based practice with a thoughtful exploration of the human experience.

Alongside a BSc (Hons) in Counselling completed in the UK, I also hold a Master's degree in Political Science from Italy. Although these disciplines may appear unrelated, both have shaped my understanding of individuals within their wider social, cultural and relational worlds. This broader perspective informs a therapeutic approach that is both academically grounded and deeply human.

I believe that meaningful psychological change begins within a therapeutic relationship characterised by authenticity, empathy and genuine presence. Rather than applying a single model to every client, I work collaboratively, adapting my approach to each person's unique experiences, values and goals.

Whether you are experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, loss, questions of identity, or simply a sense that life has become disconnected from who you are, therapy can provide an opportunity to slow down, reflect and move towards greater understanding and choice.

Through Harmonic Resonance Counselling, my aim is to offer a calm, professional and thoughtful space where clients feel genuinely heard while developing greater awareness, resilience and freedom in the way they relate to themselves and others.

My role is not to provide answers, but to accompany you with empathy, curiosity and professional integrity as we work towards greater clarity, resilience and personal growth.

Training, qualifications & experience

I hold a BSc Counselling awarded in the United Kingdom and a Master's degree in Political Science obtained in Italy. My counselling training has provided a strong foundation in person-centred, humanistic, psychodynamic and existential approaches, while my wider academic background continues to inform my understanding of the complex psychological, social and cultural contexts in which people live.

I welcome clients of all sexual orientations, gender identities and relationship structures. My practice is LGBTQIA+ affirmative and kink-aware, recognising the diversity of human relationships and expressions of identity without assuming they are the source of psychological difficulty. I aim to offer a respectful, informed and non-pathologising therapeutic space where clients can explore their experiences openly and authentically.

My clinical practice is integrative, drawing primarily on person-centred principles while incorporating humanistic-existential perspectives where appropriate. I place particular importance on the therapeutic relationship as the foundation for meaningful and lasting change, recognising that each client's needs, experiences and pace are unique.

Alongside formal training, I am committed to ongoing professional development, reflective practice and regular clinical supervision in accordance with the BACP Ethical Framework. I continue to deepen both my clinical knowledge and philosophical understanding of psychotherapy, recognising that professional growth is an essential part of providing ethical and effective care.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Additional information

I believe that transparency is an important part of establishing a professional therapeutic relationship.

I offer a 30-minute initial consultation for £45, providing an opportunity for us to discuss your reasons for seeking therapy, explore how I work and consider whether we feel comfortable working together.

Ongoing counselling sessions are £70 for 50 minutes, whether delivered in person or online.

Payment is requested before each session by bank transfer unless otherwise agreed. If you need to cancel or rearrange an appointment, I kindly ask for at least 48 hours' notice. Sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice may be charged in full, except in exceptional circumstances.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions before arranging an initial consultation.

Further information

Alongside face-to-face counselling, I offer secure online sessions across the UK, providing flexibility for clients who may find remote therapy more accessible.

My practice welcomes adults from all backgrounds and identities. I value diversity and recognise that each person's experience is shaped by their individual history, relationships and culture. Whatever brings you to therapy, my intention is to create a respectful environment in which you feel able to explore your thoughts and experiences openly.

If you are unsure whether counselling is the right step, I offer a 30-minute initial consultation. This provides an opportunity for us to meet, discuss what has brought you to therapy, consider how I work, and decide together whether we feel we are the right fit before committing to ongoing sessions.
