Counselling Psychologist based in West Sussex, specialising in compassionate, embodied and targeted approaches to wellbeing, bringing a warm accepting down-to-earth flexible style to therapeutic work with you.
Initial sessions focus on developing a shared understanding of your challenges, strengths and goals, at your pace. Sessions can look like compassionate listening alongside reflection and exploration, and at other times can include coping tools and strategies, as we work towards further insights, healing and growth.
Training, qualifications & experience
Drawing mainly from acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), compassion focused therapy (CFT), person-centred approaches and trauma physiology. Additional training in somatic movement therapy (DMP) also allows for a focus on body awareness and mind-body connection.
Experienced in working with anxiety, depression, trauma, stress and burnout, relationship and family issues, neurodivergence, fertility and perinatal experiences, highly sensitive people/sensory processing sensitivity, LGBTQIA+ communities, cultural and racial experiences, amongst other concerns.

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
