About me
I am passionate about supporting people to feel more connected to themselves and their lives. I believe we all have the capacity to grow, heal, and create change in our lives, and we need the right space to explore and connect with that part of ourselves.
In our sessions, we explore what's happening for you in the present moment, while also paying attention to the patterns and experiences that have shaped you and may be resurfacing. I offer a warm, down to earth and non-judgemental space where you can be heard, understood, and explore things from new perspectives, at a pace that works for you.
I offer the opportunity to work with metaphor, dreams, writing, art, and crafts (these are entirely optional), as a way to get in touch with the unconscious, bringing to light that which we don't often have the opportunity to see. I also find these can help when we're not quite sure how to verbalise a feeling or experience.
Whether you're dealing with anxiety, GAD, relationship and family issues, low self-confidence, big changes, or the less easy to pin down sense that something is 'off', we can work together to help you find clarity in what is holding you back, and the awareness and confidence to move forward.
I have experience working with LGBTQ+ clients, ADHD, and Autism, and ensure that I am holding a warm space for you to show up as you are, no matter at what stage you find yourself.
I have also worked with a number of trainee/student counsellors, supporting them on their journey of personal development.
In addition to talking therapy, I offer sessions specifically for creative and spiritual aspects of self-reflection. This includes (but is not limited to) art creation, dream interpretation, and therapeutic Tarot (informed by Carl Jung's work), in which we reflect on symbols and intuitive 'sense' to deeper explore that which we cannot access through talking therapy alone . This type of work is best suited to those who are already drawn to holistic self-reflection and exploration, and not appropriate for those who are seeking crisis support or a more cognitive based approach to therapy. These sessions usually take more time and exploration by nature, and so the option of either 60 minute or 120 minute sessions are available.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
