About me
Therapy can be a powerful space for growth, healing, and self-understanding - but certain elements can really make a difference in how effective it feels. Here's how I bring each of these into our sessions together:
A Strong Therapeutic Relationship with Your Counsellor
I believe that the connection between us is at the heart of the work we do. Feeling safe, heard, and accepted gives you the space to explore your thoughts and emotions honestly, without fear of judgment. I'm warm, approachable, and genuinely interested in getting to know you as a whole person.
I’m committed to creating an inclusive and welcoming space, where you feel respected and able to be your authentic self. Whoever you are and whatever your background, you are welcome here. My aim is to build a relationship where you feel supported, understood, and free to be you.
The Right Type of Therapy for You
I work in an integrative way, which means I draw on different types of therapy to suit your unique needs and experiences. There's no one-size-fits-all approach in counselling, and I believe in working together to find what feels most helpful for you. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, low mood, relationship issues, self-esteem or something else, we'll shape the sessions around what matters most to you.
Trust in Your Counsellor
Building trust is a key part of therapy, and I do my best to create a space where you feel safe and supported. I'm reliable and consistent in how I work, and I take my role in your journey seriously. People I’ve worked with often describe my approach as gentle and warm. I have experience supporting individuals through a range of issues, including low self-esteem, bereavement, anxiety, and life changes.
I’m a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), which means I work to high professional and ethical standards (Membership number: 414727). I’m also dedicated to ongoing learning and development to deepen my knowledge and enhance the support I offer.
Whatever you’re bringing, I’ll meet you where you are and walk alongside you at your pace, with care and respect always.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
