About me
Whether you’re feeling anxious, overwhelmed, stuck, or simply sensing that something needs to change - together we can build a supportive space to pause, reflect, and reconnect with what matters most to you.
What can you expect
I offer a compassionate, thoughtful space where you can feel heard, respected, and understood. You don’t need to arrive with clear questions or a specific problem — just a willingness to explore what feels important for you. I work with curiosity, care, and integrity, creating a safe space where you will be met with empathy and non-judgement.
How does counselling work
Counselling can be a powerful space for:
- Understanding your emotions and behaviours
- Exploring how past experiences have shaped you
- Gaining insight into your patterns and boundaries
- Discovering how you want to evolve
Through counselling, we can find movement, creating space for meaningful shifts toward a fuller understanding of yourself and a life that aligns with you.
My approach
My Person‑Centred approach values your individuality and lived experience. Rather than focusing on diagnosis or analysis, our work centres on reflection, understanding, and self‑exploration, allowing insight and change to emerge naturally. I also draw on additional therapeutic perspectives where helpful, ensuring the support remains responsive to you as a whole person

I’ve had the honour of working with individuals through a wide range of lived experiences - and while the list is not exhaustive, it reflects the diversity and depth of the human experience:
- Addiction and post-recovery
- Anxiety
- Chronic illness
- Depression
- Feeling overwhelmed
- Grief and bereavement
- Low mood and lack of motivation
- Low self-esteem and/or low self confidence
- Relationships and family issues
- Significant life changes such as relationship transitions, career shifts
- Trauma and emotional distress
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP), with a level 4 qualification in Therapeutic Counselling. I am currently studying for the level 5 qualification in: Working Somatically with Trauma Therapy.
I have experience working with individuals from a wide range of backgrounds and welcome clients of all cultures, sexualities, gender identities, and life experiences. I am committed to offering a compassionate and inclusive space where you can feel seen, heard, and supported.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
