About me

I specialise in working with individuals aged 11 and older. My professional background includes supporting clients who have experienced bereavement due to suicide, domestic violence, and other forms of loss. Additionally, I have extensive experience working with young people and addressing relationship dynamics.

I believe in the power of a humanistic, person-centred approach to support your well-being. Our nurturing environment is designed to make you feel safe, valued, and understood. I focus on your unique experiences and needs, offering empathetic and non-judgmental support. Whether you’re facing life’s challenges or seeking personal growth, I am here to walk alongside you, providing the care and encouragement you need to thrive. Discover a place where your voice is heard, and your journey is honoured. I use a combination of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Transactional Analysis (TA) , Mindfulness, to help clients achieve their personal goals and improve their overall well-being.

In the counselling sessions, I create a warm, nurturing, and playful environment where Young people feel safe and valued. I use fun and engaging activities to help young people express their feelings and thoughts in a way that feels natural to them. My approach is all about understanding each Young persons unique world and providing the support they need to thrive. Through games, art, and storytelling, we build trust and encourage positive growth, making the journey of self-discovery enjoyable and meaningful. Here, every child is heard and understood.

Training, qualifications & experience

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
