About me

Are you looking for non-judgemental help and support with your difficulties and concerns? People come to therapy for many different reasons. Whatever your reasons, therapy with me provides a safe and confidential space for you to talk with a qualified therapist about your difficulties. The goal of therapy is to help you understand your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours and to develop skills to manage your life in a more satisfying way.

How I can help you

I am a skilled and trusted Integrative Psychotherapist and draw upon many years of training in psychology and therapy, and experience in helping people.  I provide adult, couple, and family therapy in various locations in London and online. I work in an integrative way, meaning I integrate knowledge and tools from a variety of therapies and psychology. I combine my knowledge and experience with therapeutic skills to help you in the best possible way according to your needs.

What I can help with

I help people with most of life’s difficulties, relationship problems, and emotional and psychological concerns. I have a particular interest in:

*Anxiety                    *Stress/ Burnout             * Couple Counselling              *Family issues          *Low Self-Esteem           * Life transitions              *Existential Crisis    *Childfree women           *Childhood emotional neglect

How I work

People describe me as approachable and easy to talk to, which is helpful for most people, especially at the start. We will explore what it is you would like to get from therapy. I will offer you therapy tailored to your needs and we will work in a way that works best for you.

My approach to psychotherapy encompasses humanistic, existential philosophy, and positive psychology.  I will help you explore your world to see how you engage with your life and the people around you.  I will help you become aware of your values, beliefs, and limitations and help you connect and improve your relationship with yourself and other people.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
