About me
I’m a qualified integrative psychotherapist based in London, working on both a long and short-term basis for online and in-person sessions.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in a deep respect for each person’s unique life story. I offer a space where you can feel heard, supported, and gently challenged - a space to make sense of what’s happening in your inner and outer world, to reconnect with your needs, and to move toward a fuller and more meaningful life.
I work with a wide range of issues, including life transitions, identity, fear of ageing, relationships, self-worth, and the long echoes of trauma or neglect. I’m particularly interested in how we make meaning of our experiences and how therapy can support us in holding healthy power, navigating complexity, deepening self-trust and honouring our relational needs.
Outside of my clinical work, I draw from my background in mental health, creative arts, and ageing research, weaving together an interest in the mind, body, and social worlds we inhabit.
Training, qualifications & experience
My educational and professional background combines almost two decades of experience in mental health settings, spanning public, private, and nonprofit roles. I hold a BSc(Hons) in Counselling and Therapeutic Studies, a PGCert in Transpersonal Psychotherapy and Coaching, an MSc in Gerontology (the science of ageing and lifespan development), and a PGDip (distinction) in Counselling and Psychotherapy from UEL, and I am a registered member of the BACP.
A key area of my work is ageism in therapy and the impact of accumulative inequality over the lifespan. I have researched how ageing is framed within the counselling profession and how to approach therapy from an anti-ageism perspective. Ageing is not just a later-life concern - it shapes our experiences across the lifespan, from chronological age-based milestones (like home-buying pressures) to body image and self-worth. If you are struggling with any aspect of ageing, whether directly or indirectly, I am one of the few therapists specifically trained in this area.
I continuously and regularly expand my practice principles with further training. Most recently, this included nature-allied therapy, AI-assisted therapy, anti-oppressive and inclusive practice and supervision, using creative approaches in the therapy space, Gestalt group process, somatic and embodied psychotherapy.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Additional information
My fees vary depending on the time of day and whether sessions are online or in person. You’re very welcome to contact me to discuss current availability and fee options.
Sessions usually last 50 minutes (one therapeutic hour) and take place on a regular basis at a mutually agreed time and day. I also offer extended sessions for those who feel they would benefit from a little more time, which are charged on a pro rata basis.
In our first session, I’ll invite you to share a little about your background, your relationships, and what has led you to seek therapy at this point. I’ll also explain how I work, and there will be space for any questions you may have.
Please feel free to email me to arrange an initial consultation. I aim to respond within 24 hours.
